Campaign graphics · Poster composition
01 / The brief
Event communication for the sixteenth Olympiades at Morocco’s National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (INPT). The programme brings sport, music and community activities together; the campaign gives the edition a recognisable image and its performers distinct announcements.
My contribution
I designed the campaign graphics and poster compositions, including the Penguin key visual and the event, performer and sports layouts shown here.
Working across formats
The campaign has two jobs: introduce the edition with an image-led concept, then give audiences clear information about individual events and performers.
02 / Design decisions
Read the system through the workDecision 01
Make the destination the reveal
The Penguin image answers the trend’s implied question—where is it going?—with a recognisable destination: INPT. The tiny figure and the large, snow-covered campus make the setting carry the idea. ‘That’s why’ completes the reveal without a long explanation.
The edition announcement then switches from curiosity to information: the name, edition and dates become the main reading points.
Decision 02
Move from atmosphere to people
Performer announcements need recognition at a glance. Monochrome portraits against a pale textured field create space for navy titles, keeping the artist visible while the type announces the programme.
The group Showcase and individual Small X layouts share the same image treatment while accommodating different portrait counts.
Decision 03
Keep the reading order across subjects
Sport and talks bring different imagery into the campaign. A pale ground, condensed navy heading and lower information zone connect the volleyball action shot to the conference composition.
The subject changes without asking the viewer to learn a new information hierarchy.
03 / Beyond the poster
The wide banner is shown as artwork. Its compressed hierarchy puts the edition name between the event and partner marks. Installation photographs and fabrication details are not part of this presentation.
04 / The complete picture
The project sequence connects a conceptual teaser with edition, music, sport and conference announcements, plus banner artwork.
This project demonstrates the distinction between a campaign’s opening idea and the practical visual structure needed to carry its programme.
