01 / The brief

The fifteenth INPT Olympiades brought music, sport, gaming and cultural activities together from 21 to 23 February 2025. My work connects programme announcements and activity-ticket artwork through a shared visual hierarchy.

My contribution

I designed the campaign artwork and layouts across music, sport, gaming and cultural announcements, plus activity-ticket artwork. My work includes the typographic hierarchy, image composition and adaptations shown here.

Working across formats

One programme, two scripts and very different amounts of information: a performer name, a competition entry, a programme and a small-format ticket all need to remain recognisable as part of the same event.

02 / Design decisions

Read the system through the work

Decision 01

A shared hierarchy, with room for two scripts

The Latin title provides the large reading anchor; Arabic lettering works around its upper and lower edges. Keeping the event marks above and the practical information below leaves a flexible middle for the performer or activity.

The music and football posters use different subjects and colours, but retain the same order: event, title and image, time and place, partner credits.

The optional guides identify regions of the finished artwork. They are reading aids, not an original construction grid. Enlargement opens the unobstructed design.

  1. 01 / Arabic: flexible placement

The performer’s name stays on one line above the Latin capitals. The two-word football title occupies two lines around them, keeping the Arabic word order while adapting to the central image. Neither composition forces the scripts onto one baseline.

  2. 02 / Latin: a consistent anchor

Tall white capitals hold the central reading zone in both posters. Arabic uses less height, but colour, stroke weight and overlap give it presence. Equal point sizes would not create equal optical weight.

  3. 03 / Information: a separate zone

Date and venue sit below the expressive title and image. These details are in Latin script; the titles are paired, not complete bilingual translations. The ticket below changes the arrangement again for a wide, shallow format.

Decision 02

Change the category, keep the frame

Standardising every subject would flatten the programme. A magenta field separates Trip to Asia from violet esports, while the top marks, edge framing and white partner strip keep both inside the festival campaign.

Origami can be led by a paper crane and Valorant by its game imagery without losing the campaign’s information structure.

Decision 03

Let the information set the layout

The Big Show announcement needs a single focal point. Its categories notice needs several entry points and a registration code. The red stage, microphones and footer stay consistent while the centre changes from a headline to a list.

Recognition comes from the surrounding structure, so the central layout can answer a different communication need.

03 / Beyond the poster

These are ticket-design exports, rather than photographs of printed tickets. The narrow format keeps the activity name, Arabic lettering and price; it drops the large subject image and multi-partner footer used on the posters. The white price panel is a separate reading zone.

04 / The complete picture

The available work documents a campaign across eight programme families and six ticket designs. The selected pieces show how the hierarchy survives changes in subject, script, information density and proportion.

This project demonstrates campaign-system thinking: deciding what must stay consistent and where an individual announcement needs freedom.
